Doris Ann Carpenter Richard

Doris Ann Carpenter Richard, age 84, 6416 of Leatherman Road in Vale, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Daniels Lutheran Church with Pastor David Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. in the fellowship hall prior to the service.
Mrs. Richard was born August 6, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late Lander James Carpenter and Irene Elizabeth Carpenter Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Reece Richard, Sr.; two sons, Billy Reece Richard, Jr. and Michael Lester Richard, Sr.; and a brother, Larry Carpenter. Doris loved to travel with the senior group and be “on the go,” and also spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Steven Richard, Sr., and wife Maggie, of Vale, and Mark Kylie Richard, Sr., and wife Susie, of Homestead, FL; two daughters, Rhonda Egeland, and husband Ted, of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Pamela Quiles, and husband Eddy, of Vale; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Reynolds.
