Clifford "Bud" Mashburn

Clifford “Bud” E. Mashburn, age 72, of Amity Church Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
“Bud” was born January 22, 1945, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Zeb and Grace Jenkins Mashburn. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Luther Mashburn; and three sisters, Willie Belle Page, Clairene Hoyle, and Mary Ellen Mashburn. He worked in construction.
He is survived by three brothers, Gilbert Mashburn and Ernest Mashburn, both of Stanley, and Bobby Mashburn of Iron Station; and four sisters, Betty Goodson of Lincolnton, Melony Bishop of Stanley, Jeannie Jenkins of Iron Station, and Gail Jones of Stanley.
Memorials may be made to New Grace Baptist Church, 3462 Highway 73, Iron Station, NC 28080.
