William Edison Fisher

William Edison Fisher, age 74, of Horseshoe Drive in Mt. Holly, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Lowe and Pastor David Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Fisher was born September 14, 1942, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Locke Craig Fisher and Edith Pauline Chapman Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Edward Fisher; and two sisters, Ruby C. Fisher and Janice F. Miller. He was president and owner of D&L Waste, J&F Disposal, and Wind Fish Disposal.
He is survived by Sue Arnett Davis of the home; a son, Donnie Fisher of Concord; a daughter, Lisa Sigmon (Bengy) of Concord; a brother, Robert C. Fisher (Brenda) of Concord; a sister, Vickie F. Jenkins (John) of Fuquay-Varina; two grandchildren, Clint Fisher (Heather) of Lincolnton and Seth Sigmon of Concord; one step-grandchild, Nikki Gardner (Adam) of Cherryville; and two step-great-grandchildren, Addi Gardner and Jackson Gardner, both of Cherryville.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
