Harry Roger Kiser

Harry Roger Kiser, age 74, of Hovis Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Iron Station Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Kiser was born February 11, 1943, in Lincoln County, to the late Woodrow Wilson Kiser and Myrtle Harless Kiser. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Jackson Kiser; and two sisters, Roberta Strange and Janette Thomas. He served in the United States Army and later worked at Vermont American.
He is survived by a son, Harry Kiser, and wife Lynn, of Belmont; a daughter, Amanda Dowdall, and husband Paul, of Lincolnton; a sister, Delphia Mullen of Maiden; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
