Obituaries

Reginald Bernard Hurt, age 81, of 303 N. High Street, Lincolnton died Saturday, April 15, 2017.

A private graveside service will be held.

Mr. Hurt was born on November 29, 1935 and was the son of the late Fred R. and Kathleen Hoffman Hurt.  He was also preceded in death by a son Greg Hurt and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Arwood. Mr. Hurt was retired from the Family Mart Store.

He is survived by two sons, Tim Hurt and wife, Debra of Lincolnton and Jeff Hurt and wife, Karen of Lincolnton; one daughter, Lynne H. Burgin and husband, Mitch of Lincolnton; one brother, Donald Hurt of Lincolnton; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hurt of Clover, SC; eight grandchildren, Brandon Hurt, Jeffrey Hurt, Amanda Hilton, Matt Burgin, Colby Burgin, Brittney Renn, April Hurt and Beth Kirkland; eleven great-grandchildren.
