Obituaries

Larry Bryce Richardson, age 67, of 1271 Clarence Beam Road, Cherryville died Wednesday, April 19, 2017.

His funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Blakley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Denver United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Richardson was born on November 4, 1949.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jaye Bryce Richardson, one brother, Robin Dean Richardson and his wife, Melisa Richardson.  He was an electrician and was also a US Navy veteran having served in Vietnam.

Mr. Richardson is survived by one son, Matthew Richardson (Cassandra) of Georgia; one step-son, Allan Moody (Jennifer Day) of Hickory; mother, Doris R. Richardson; two brothers, Billy Joe Richardson of Woodbridge, VA and Jaye Bryce Richardson, Jr. (Melanie Eatman Richardson) of Peachland, NC; one sister, Naomi Christine Richardson Boatright of Monroe; five grandchildren, Isaiah, Adoniya and Ezra Richardson, Lukas Day and Cooper Moody; a number of nieces and nephews.
