Obituaries

Robert  Randall  Peaslee, age 56, of 1244 River Hill Trail in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Duval Mason officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Robert was born August 17, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, to Rebecca Jackson Peaslee and the late Robert Dean Callon.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shawn Denise O’Neill Peaslee.  He worked as a parts distributor for BSR for many years, and most recently Activus and GKN Driveline. 

He is survived by two daughters, Ashley Peaslee, and fiance Michael Cable, of Lincolnton and Heather Wilson, and husband Joe, of California; a son, Jeremy Peaslee, and wife Alicia, of California; stepmother, Patricia Callon of Greensboro; stepbrother, Dean Callon of Greensboro; stepsister, Amber Callon of Greensboro; four brothers, Dan Peaslee, Sam Peaslee, Ed Peaslee, and Sean Peaslee, all of Reno, NV; and three grandchildren.

He was a lover of his family, cars, music, and gun collecting.  We lost an amazing man all too suddenly.  We will forever love and miss him.  He has been a rock over the last few months and he will be greatly missed.  His friends and family will forever hold him in their hearts.
