Mr. Richard Francis Kohout, Sr., age 74, of 1094 Better Brook Lane, Lincolnton died Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Services for Mr. Kohout will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Kohout was born on April 18, 1943 to the late Joseph John Kohout and Wanda Senkowski  McKnight.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Letitia Berg Kohout, his son, Richard Kohout, Jr. and his brother, Joseph Kohout.  He was retired from the construction industry as a roofer.

Mr. Kohout  is survived by one son, James Kohout of Forked Rivers, NJ: one daughter, Kimberly K. Weiz of Mankawkin, NJ; one brother, Bernie Kohout of Boca Raton; two sisters, Eileen K. Naumoski of Garfield, NJ and Shirley K. Barnes of Lincolnton; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
