Obituaries

Mr. Bobby Dean Canipe, age 73, of 3980 Killian Road, Lincolnton died Sunday, May 14, 2017.

The family will receive friend from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at Warlick Funeral Home. A memorial service for Mr. Canipe will be held at a later date.

Mr. Canipe was born September 17, 1943 to the late Horace and Edith Carpenter Canipe.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Isenhour and two children, Rebecca Canipe and Johnathan Canipe.  Mr. Canipe was a farmer and was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Pate of Lincolnton; two brothers, Wilford Canipe of Henry, NC and James Canipe of Lincolnton; three sisters, Ann Hastings of Statesville, Daphine Swaine of Statesville and Lela Childers of Lincolnton; two granddaughters, Rebecca Pate of Lincolnton and Angela Rodrigez of Florida; one grandson, Andrew Pate; three great-grandchildren, Ana Rodriguez, Faith Rodriguez and Liam Pate.
