Jack Hull
( August 10, 1925 - July 19, 2017 )
Jack Hull, age 91, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Tom Nussbaum and Daniel Farris officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Hull was born August 10, 1925, in Lincoln County, to the late George and Ginnie Putnam Hull. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a half- brother, Lamar Hull, and a half-sister, Jeanette “Tommie” Jones. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and in the Army National Guard during the Korean Conflict. Jack worked at J.P. Stevens for 38 years. He always set a good example, by being honest, a Christian, caring for others first, hardworking, ethical and loving his family. Jack knew everyone, he never met a stranger. What a legacy to leave with the world, that you were loved by everyone who knew you.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Beam Hull of the home; a son, Micah Hull, and significant other, Anor George, of Charlotte; two daughters, Pamela Hull Whiteaker of Rock Hill, SC, and Mitzi Hull Stogner, and husband Darryl, of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Tyger Whiteaker, and wife Kristi of Rock Hill, SC, John Whiteaker, and wife Jamie, of Rock Hill, SC, and Angela Hull Merritt of Virginia; three great-grandchildren; and a half-brother, B.J. Henson.
