Stella Frances Crouse Brown
( September 2, 1930 - July 24, 2017 )
Stella Frances Crouse Brown, age 86, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of Asbury Church Road, died on Monday, July 24, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bud Painter officiating.
Mrs. Brown was born September 2, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Willie “Bill” Crouse and Alice “Duck” Hester Crouse. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin Brown, and an infant sister. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Franklin Brown of Ridgeland, SC, and Arthur Leroy Brown, and wife Shelby, of Lincolnton; one sister, Grace Spencer, and husband Daries, of Lincolnton; one half-brother, Rev. J.W. Crouse, and wife Ruby, of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Robert Melvin Brown, and Victoria, of Lincolnton, and Christopher Brown, and wife Marissa, of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Ruth Cloninger of Lincolnton; four great-grandchildren, Cameron Brown, Eli Brown, Sarah Brown, and Brantley Brown; and three nieces, Karmen Spencer, Robin Huss, and Barbara “Bobbie” Barrier, all of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
