Cora Martenny Ingle Houser

Cora Martenny Ingle Houser, age 80, of Startown Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:15 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Houser was born June 4, 1937, in Lincoln County, to the late Nelson and Carrie Smith Ingle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her eldest son, Timothy Houser; five brothers, Lewis Ingle, Bobby Ingle, Thomas Ingle, Junior Ingle and George Ingle; and a sister, Ruby Mull. She worked in sewing and enjoyed cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth M. Houser, of the home; two sons, Luke Houser, and wife Barbara, of Cat Square and Samuel Houser of Lincolnton; one sister, Josephine Allen of Vale; three grandchildren, Krystal Setzer, Megan Beal, and Dakota Barnes; and six great-grandchildren.
