James Arland Grant, Jr., age 60, of Highway 27 in Vale, died on Sunday, August 13, 2017.
James was born April 24, 1957, in York County, South Carolina, to the late James Arland Grant, Sr. and Katherine Bumgarnder Grant. He served in the United States Marines and then later worked in heating and air.
He is survived by two sons, Timothy Grant of Gaffney, SC and Nicholas Grant of Lincolnton; three daughters, Brandy Smith of Gaffney, Holly Przekop of Simpsonville, SC, and Katelin Grant of Lincolnton; three brothers, Chuck Grant of Gastonia, Terry Grant of Gaffney, and Gary Grant of Shelby; and a sister, Annette Mullinax of Hickory.
Inurnment will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017, at the VA Cemetery in Salisbury, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
