Norman Nowell Flynn, Sr.

Norman Nowell Flynn, Sr., age 62, of 2962 Heavners Farm Court in Lincolnton, died on Friday, August 18, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Reepsville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hull officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Flynn was born June 25, 1955, in Virginia, to the late Richard and Mary Houser Flynn. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hughes Flynn of the home; two sons, Chris Flynn of Hickory and Norman Flynn, Jr. of Lincolnton; two daughters, Monica Flynn of Vale and Valerie Gladden of Cherryville; three brothers, Chester Flynn of Asheville, Larry Long of Glen Alpine, and Gary Long of Asheville; two sisters, Angela Perkins and Kim Rudisill, both of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Reepsville Baptist Church, 4287 Reepsville Road, Vale, NC 28168.
