Irma Jean Stines Kay

Irma Jean Stines Kay, age 64, of Beverly Lane in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at First Baptist Church of High Shoals with Rev. Doug McClain officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Kay was born February 26, 1953, in Gaston County, to the late Floyd and Margie Eades Stines. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Kay of the home; two daughters, Cindy K. Howe and Angie K. Taylor, both of Charlotte; a son, Robert Kay of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Ethan Kay and Shelby Kay, both of Maiden; and seven siblings.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, for the Robin Johnson Hospice House, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
