Harvey Alonzo Setzer, Jr.

Harvey “Buddy” Alonzo Setzer, Jr., age74, of Lincolnton, died on Monday, September 25, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Setzer was born April 1, 1943, in Catawba County, to the late Harvey Alonzo Setzer, Sr. and Libby Buff Setzer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Huss. He served in the United States Army and then later worked for General Electric as a transformer repairman.
He is survived by a daughter, Christy Setzer Chaney (Buddy) of Lincolnton; three sisters, Mildred Canipe (Mack) of Charlotte, Judy Wurtzer, and Ella Stirewalt (Dennis) all of Hickory; two grandchildren, Blaine Chaney and Skyler Chaney, both of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
