Walter E. Sain

Walter E. Sain, age 86, of Vale, died on Monday, October 30, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Sayer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Sain was born September 8, 1931, in Catawba County, to the late Curtis Alvin Sain and Junie Houser Sain. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lutz Sain. He served in the United States Army and then later worked as a supervisor for Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation.
He is survived by two sons, Gary Sain, and wife Colleen of Concord, and Daryl Sain of Vale; three grandchildren, Gary Sain, Jr., Amanda Sain, and Michael Sain; and one great-grandson, Reid Sain and friend, Martha Johnson.
