Obituaries

Mr. Louis Joseph Cannarsa, age 83, of 1571 Hometrail, Lincolnton died Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stanley Spence, Father David Miller and Dr. Bob Wise officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Cannarsa was born on March 31, 1934 and was the son of the late Joseph and Henrietta Muchaicho Cannarsa.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a co- owner of Italian Villa.

Mr. Cannarsa is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Cannarsa of the home; two brothers, Henry Cannarsa of Lincolton and Anthony Cannarsa of Lincolnton; one sister, Anna Marie Zarzecki, and husband Thomas of New Jersey; four nephews, Thomas Zarzecki of New Jersey, Joe Zarzecki of New Jersey, Robbie Scates and wife, Donna of Lincolnton and Louis Joseph Scates of Spruce Pine; one niece, Cathy Conner and husband, Bobby of Cherryville; two great nephews, Blake Conner and Brandon Conner; four great nieces, Taylor Scates , Josom Scates, Erica Adams and Candace Lewis; great-great nephew, Lane Scronce;  great-great niece Emma Conner.
