Daphine Johnson McRee

Mrs. Daphine Johnson McRee, age 86, of 654 Sunridge Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, November 3, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Boger City United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from1:30 until 2:45 on Sunday, November 5, 2017, prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. McRee was born November 14, 1930 to the late Perry C. and Bessie Mauney Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Jake” McRee; five brothers, Alfred, Troy, Leroy, James, Jake and J.D. Johnson; two sisters, Pauline Caldwell and Mozelle Lineberger. Mrs. McRee was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda M. Kuster and husband Bruce of Lincolnton; one sister, Wilhelmina Ledford of Lincolnton; two grandsons, Matthew Kuster and wife Ashlea of Lincolnton; Jonathan Kuster and wife Taylor of Lincolnton; three great grandsons, Gunnar Kuster, Nash Kuster and Renly Kuster.
Memorials may be made to Boger City United Methodist Church, 2320 East Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or Hospice of one’s choice.
