Obituaries

Mr. Jerry Allen Smith, age 49, of Nutmeg Trail in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Crowell United Methodist Church with the Reverend David Hobson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Jerry was born June 4, 1968 in Lincoln County to Jerry Lee Smith and Mildred Smith Holman.  He was a supervisor with GKN.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Reep Smith of the home; two daughters, Jessica Evans and husband Daniel of Vale, Ashley Smith of the home; mother, Mildred Smith Holman of Newton; father and stepmother Jerry Lee and Linda Smith of Lincolnton ; two brothers, Scotty Lee Smith of Newton, Johnny Smith and wife Tammy of Lincolnton; sister Clorressa Smith of Vale; three stepbrothers, Keith Holman and wife Carrie of Hickory, Steve Holman of Lincolnton, Mac Holman and wife Libby of Newton; one stepsister, Patricia Davey of Kings Mountain; two grandchildren, Sophie Evans and Levi Evans.
