Richard Flay Cook

Richard Flay Cook, age 64, of 2619 Highway 182 in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Pennell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Cook was born July 18, 1953, in Lincoln County, to the late Edward and Jeanette McGinnis Cook. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Cook. He worked in maintenance for Partnership Properties.
He is survived by his wife, Martha A. Cook of the home; one daughter, Dakota Engle of Georgia; a step-daughter, Paula Payne, and husband James, of Lincolnton; and a sister, Janet Mathis, and husband Danny, of Vale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
