Obituaries

Mrs. Libby Reinhardt Rikard, age 76, of 3143 Ramseur Street, Lincolnton died Monday, December 26, 2017.

Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m.  Friday, December 29, 2017 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fain Farmer officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rikard was born on March 16, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Sam and Ida Miller Reinhardt.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Milton Rikard, three brothers, H. Reinhardt, Loyd Reinhardt, Jay Reinhardt, one sister, Ina Oats and a son, Butch Rikard. Mrs. Rikard worked as a greeter at Walmart.

She is survived by one son, Tracy Rikard of Lincolnton; one daughter, Sharon Rikard Pinckney of Lincolnton; one sister, Shirley Strickland of Colbert, GA; four grandchildren, Brandon Rikard, Cody Rikard, Dylan Rikard and Cassie Rikard; three great-grandchildren; Harley McConnell, Lyric Rikard and Steele Rikard.
