Obituaries

Mr. Robert Dale Manley, age 73, of E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Goins and Rev. John Marlar officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Manley was born May 30, 1944, in Columbia, SC to the late Clyde Alex and Aloe Alma Towe Manley.  He was retired from Duke Energy after over 31 years of service.  Mr. Manley was a member of the Masonic Lodge Maiden 592.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sara Louise Youngblood Manley, two sons, Randall Manley and wife Loria of Lincolnton and Tim Manley and wife Lorna of Lincolnton; one brother, Curtis Manley; five grandchildren, Haley, Jamie, Summer and Caroline Manley and Danielle Klocko; four great grandchildren, Rylie and Peyton Furr, Silas Freeman and Chloe Klocko.
