Lester Ray Bradshaw, Sr.

Lester Ray Bradshaw, Sr., age 79, of Johnstown Road in Crouse, died on Monday, January 15, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Lester was born September 15, 1938, in Lincoln County, to the late Sonny Lee and Alda Mae Atwall Bradshaw. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Ray Bradshaw; a daughter, Cindy Bryant; three brothers, Marshall Bradshaw, Luther Bradshaw, and Russell Bradshaw; and three sisters, Gazzie Lee Bradshaw, Duckie Bradshaw, and Louise Bradshaw. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by four sons, Steve Gilbert, and wife Faye, of Cherryville Lester Bradshaw, Jr., Elvis Bradshaw, and wife Katherine, of Iron Station, and Perry Franklin of Cherryville; three daughters, Mattie Franklin and Angela Ortega, both of the home, and Linda Reed of Crouse; six grandchildren, Matthew Townsend, and wife Amanda, Melissa Bryant, and husband Robert, Buddy Weeks, Jonathan Bradshaw, Mandy Bradshaw and Helen Martinez; eight great-grandchildren; and girlfriend, Judy Childers of the home.
