Obituaries

Mrs. Nellie Sue Sain Mosteller, age 94, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2017 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Mann officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mosteller was born August 4, 1923 in Lincoln County to the late Fred A. and Hester Jarrett Sain.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Worth  Mosteller.  Mrs. Mosteller was retired from Long Shoals Wesleyan Church Daycare where she cooked breakfast and lunch for many years.

Survivors include one son, Dale Mosteller and wife Beth of Lincolnton; two brothers, Jim Sain and Paul Sain and wife Helen, all of Lincolnton; one grandson, Richard Mosteller of Waynesville; and twin great grandsons, Carson and Colton Mosteller.
