Virginia Kay Spargo Carter
( September 2, 1944 - January 29, 2018 )
Virginia Kay Spargo “Cadillac” Carter, age 73, of 170 Vinton Drive in Dallas, died on Monday, January 29, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buck Whitted officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:45 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Virginia was born September 2, 1944, in Gaston County, to the late Robert and Annie Dellinger Ramero. She worked as an inspector for Homelite.
She is survived by a son, Jamie Carter, and wife Jennifer, of Dallas; a sister, Amy Johnson, and husband Dave, of Texas; five grandchildren, Christina Carter, and husband Braxton, Heather Carter, Jimmy Carter, and wife Katlin, Annalyse Treadway, and Alec Stephenson; numerous great-grandchildren; and special nieces, Michelle and Crystal Carter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 222 S. Church Street, Suite 336M, Charlotte, NC 28202.
