Ralph Lee Cashion
( August 17, 1921 - February 8, 2018 )
Ralph Lee Cashion, age 96, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of Linwood Drive, died on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018, in the Asbury United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Tony Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Cashion was born August 17, 1921, in Lincoln County, to the late Lawrence Lee and Bertie Mae Gantt Cashion. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Johnsie Cashion and Mattie Cashion; two brothers, John Cashion and Yates Cashion; and a grandson, Jeremy Lee Cashion. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II, and then later was a shipping supervisor for La-Z-Boy.
He is survived by his wife, Winnon Cashion of the home; a son, Jerry Lee Cashion, and wife Deborah, of Hickory; a granddaughter, Adrienne Cashion Bautista, and husband Erwin, of Woodland, CA; and three great-grandchildren, Sidney Cashion of Maiden, and Alexandra and Abigail Bautista of Woodland, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
