Pearl Arminta Richard Mayberry
( September 28, 1930 - February 18, 2018 )
Pearl (Polly) Mayberry, age 87, formerly of 2479 Country Club Road, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mayberry was born on September 28, 1930, to the late Claude and Minnie Richard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William Mayberry; her brother, James Richard; and daughter-in-law, Kathi Mayberry. Mrs. Mayberry was a textile worker, but mostly she worked with her husband in pastoral work as songleader and Sunday School teacher. She was a great mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Mayberry is survived by one son, Ron Mayberry of Texas; two daughters, Brenda Dean, and husband Floyd, Linda Baker, and husband Mike; six grandchildren, Rhonda Ramsey, and husband Chris, Dale Dean, and wife Vanessa, Jeff Dean, and wife Tonya, Brad Baker, and wife Danielle, Anson Mayberry, and wife Angela, Carla Webb, and husband Jack; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maiden Wesleyan Church, 1111 Ivey Church Road, Maiden, NC 28650.
