Mary Katherine Ross Dellinger
( May 16, 1943 - February 22, 2018 )
Mary Katherine Ross Dellinger, age 74, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of Hillside Drive, died on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Bigham officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of Our Savior Woodside cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dellinger was born May 16, 1943, in Guilford County, to the late Lester Crowell Ross and Mary Lou Houser Ross. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted D. Dellinger; a brother, Webb Ross; and a sister, Regina Beam. Mrs. Dellinger worked as supervisor of housekeeping for Lincoln County Hospital.
She is survived by a son, John D. Jenkins, and wife Cindy, of Connelly Springs; a daughter, Judy Armstrong, and husband Steve, of Lincolnton; a sister, Beth Caskey of Lincolnton; a brother, Jim Ross, and wife Evelyn, of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Blaine Jenkins of Connelly Springs and Eric Armstrong, and wife Kaitlyn, of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
