Jerry Rogers Hedspeth, age 76 of Kaylor Drive in Granite Falls, NC died Friday, February 23, 2018.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Crowell Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lincolnton, NC.

Mr. Hedspeth was born December 20, 1941 in Lincoln County. He was the son of the late Clyde Hedspeth and Dorothy Mace Hedspeth. Jerry was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a systems engineer for IBM.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Scronce Hedspeth of the home; sons, Scott Hedspeth of Granite Falls, NC, Kevin Hedspeth and wife Robin of Rockwell, NC and Mark Hedspeth and wife Gemaima of Richmond, KY; daughter, Michelle Curran and husband Matthew of Alton, NH; sister, Karen Drum and husband Dwight of Lincolnton, NC; half-sister, Bonnie Hedspeth Cresson of Somerville, SC; grandchildren, Tasha Hedspeth, Kelsey Hedspeth, Andrew Hedspeth, Katie Hedspeth, Kathryn Curran, and Pauline Hedspeth.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
