Kenneth Edward Scronce

Kenneth Edward Scronce, age 77, of Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 23, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Reepsville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hull and the Rev. Ted Bost officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Ken was born June 20, 1940, in Lincoln County to the late Clarence and Pearl Smith Scronce. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee Scronce. Ken served in the United States Army and then later worked for Lincoln County EMS.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Rash Scronce of the home; a daughter, Sherry S. Carpenter, and husband Trent, of Lincolnton; a grandson, Spencer Carpenter of Lincolnton; and two brothers, Glenn Scronce and Carol Scronce, both of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Reepsville Baptist Church, 4287 Reepsville Road, Vale, NC 28168.
