Edith Dellinger

Edith “Tots” Carpenter Dellinger, age 85, of S. Madison Street in Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Avery E. White and Rev. Charles B. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Dellinger was born October 11, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late David and Ella Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Dellinger, as well as three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Dellinger loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was an active member of Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Martha Elizabeth Mott” Bell from Statesville; and extended loving family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church, 520 S. Madison Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
