Obituaries

Davis Clay Sherrill, age 5 months, of Roy Eaker Road in Cherryville, died on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Baby Davis was born October 25, 2017, in Gaston County, to Clay and Jamie Rhodes Sherrill. 

He is survived by his parents, Clay and Jamie Sherrill of the home; a sister, Ella Rhyan; two brothers, Nick and Will of the home; paternal grandparents, Joey and Carole Sherrill of Lincolnton; maternal grandparents, Phil and Betsy Rhodes of Cherryville; and maternal great-grandmother, Rachel Ballanger. 

The family is planning a private graveside service.
