Dennis Arthur Stroupe

Dennis Arthur Stroupe, age 73, of 1466 Startown Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Robert Wise officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Stroupe was born April 10, 1945, in Gaston County, to the late Howard Columbus and Pearly Mae Paysour Stroup. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Billy Ray Stroup, Louis Stroup, Clarence Herman Stroup, Roy Dean Stroupe, and George Paysour; and a sister, Diane Smith. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, and then later worked as an electrician with General Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Crawley Stroupe of the home; a daughter, Kelly Lynn Stroupe of Gastonia; a sister, Joanne Lutz of Conover; two grandchildren, Caleb Edward House and Bailey Diane House; and numerous nieces and nephews.
