Ruby Mae Ritchie Grigg

Ruby Mae Ritchie Grigg, age 88, of John Ritchie Road in Iron Station, died on Friday, April 13, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. David Walker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Grigg was born January 20, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late John and Dora Chapman Ritchie. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Elmore Grigg; a daughter, Jill Perkins; a grandson, Brian Perkins; two sisters, Dean Shull and Dare Adams; and a brother, Harold Ritchie. Ruby was retired from Carolinas Mills where she worked in the spinning department.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki G. Foxx of Iron Station and Dawn G. Baker, and husband Bruce, of Mt. Holly; a brother, Dale Ritchie of Iron Station; two sisters, Diann Garris and Sue Vance, both of Iron Station; seven grandchildren, Tobie Dellinger, Carmen Bullock, Haley Carney, Kip Perkins, Sheila White, Shane Perkins, and Julie Perkins; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, PO Box 563, Iron Station, NC 28080, or to March Forth with Hope, 3116 Weddington Road, Suite 900-133, Matthews, NC 28105.
