Obituaries

Elaine Delores Vergason Mullineaux, age 78, of 569 Sherrill Farm Road, Lincolnton died Friday, April 13, 2018.

Her funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 2018 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mullineaux was born on July 26, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Douglas and Alta Heath Vergason.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Wesley Mullineaux, one brother, Daniel Vergason and one grandson, Travis Conrad.  Mrs. Mullineaux retired as a Lab Technician with Mohican Mills in Lincolnton.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Gordon Mullineaux of Catawba and Kevin Wesley Mullineaux of Morehead City; two daughters, Vickie Ranae Conrad of Lincolnton and Terrie Jeannie Smallridge of Mooresville; one sister, Bonnie Roberts of Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren, Chad Conrad, Brad Kresge, Krystle Shutter, Daniel Mullineaux, Tyler Mullineaux, Austin Mullineaux, Ashley Rednour and Stephanie Hudson; fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Trinity Ridge and Catawba Regional Hospice for the love and honor of their mother.
