Troy Lee Rose
( December 26, 1945 - April 24, 2018 )
Troy Lee Rose, age 72, of Clark Creek Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Teddy Ogle and Pastor Daniel Woody officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Troy was born December 26, 1945, in McDowell County, West Virginia, to the late Troy and Delta Doris Pruitt Rose. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Rose. He served in the United States Army and then later worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Morgan Rose of the home; five sons, Travis Lee Rose of Lincolnton, Troy Irvan Rose (Erica) of Vale, Jack “George” Bryson (Sherry) of Lincolnton, James Bryson (Rhonda Bridges) of McAdenville, and Joshua Carver (Kendra) of Lincolnton; two daughters, Teresa Toler (Kyle) of Connelly Springs, and Brenda Little (Jody) of Maiden; three brothers, Benny Rose (Crystal) of Mt. Holly, Allen Rose (Faye) of Hickory, and Tim Rose of West Virginia; four sisters, Faye Lester and Arlene Scott, both of Creston, NC, Glenna Hicks (Elzie) of Stanley, and Ann Reeves of Iron Station; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nephews and nieces that loved him very much.
Memorials may be made to Community Grove Church, 4321 Reepsville Road, Vale, NC 28168.
