Mr. William Conley Helms, age 62 of 1335 Little Valley Lane, Lincolnton died Friday, May 4, 2018.

His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 in the Warlick Funeral home Chapel with Rev. Gary Sanders officiating . The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Helms was born on October 9, 1955 and was the son of the late Lena Cagle Helms.  He was employed as a maintenance technician. Mr. Helms love hunting and watching the Carolina Panthers.

Mr. Helms is survived by his wife, Hattie Helms of the home; two sons, Daniel Ingle of Taylorsville and Donald Ingle and wife, Bambi of Lincolnton; two daughters, Lori Stamey and husband, Jason of Morganton and Dana Mull and husband, Michael of Cherryville; his father, Joe Helms of Lincolnton; one brother, Joe Edward Helms, II and wife, Sharron of Lincolnton; two sisters, Susan Bivens and husband, Richard of Lincolnton and Sandra Chatman and husband, Steve of Lincolnton; five grandchildren Sidney Stamey, Ashley Stamey, Alton Mull, Grace Mull and Dallas Ingle.
