Bobby "Bob" S. Robinson

Bob S. Robinson, age 88, of Riverside Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, June 4, 2018.
His funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Emanuel Reformed Church with Rev. Nellie P. Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Robinson was born May 13, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Joseph and Annie Ingle Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Harrison Robinson; two brothers, Charles Robinson and Bill Robinson; and a sister, Ann Dunn. Bob worked with Southern Bell, Bell South and retired with AT&T. After retirement, Bob operated Bob’s Communication Services until he became unable to continue.
He is survived by five daughters, Krista Lawing, and husband Dean, Carol Rose, Sandy Beaver, and husband Billy, and Bobbie Craig, all of Lincolnton, and Heather Robinson of Denver; two stepsons, Greg Hovis of Charlotte and Jeff Hovis, and wife Julie, of Dacula, GA; special friend and companion, Betty Mauney; five grandchildren, Casey Craig, Adam and Ashley Rose, Will VanDresser, and Josh Morel; and three great-grandchildren.
