Louis Henry Boyles
( May 30, 1933 - June 15, 2018 )
Louis Henry Boyles, age 85, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, went to his Heavenly home on Friday, June 15, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ingle and Rev. Wesley Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Boyles was born May 30, 1933, in Lincoln County, to the late Oscar and Minnie Mosteller Boyles. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Rhyne and Marcella Cook. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Then he later worked as a brick mason and retired from Cochrane Furniture.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patsy Sigmon Boyles of the home; a son, Louis Micah Boyles, and wife Karen, of Lincolnton; two daughters, Sandra Causby, and husband Joe, and Fran White, and husband Lester, all of Lincolnton; a brother, Tommy Boyles, and wife Jeanette, of Emerald Isle; seven grandchildren, Crystal Wilson, Heath Boyles, and wife Judy, Kurt Boyles, and wife Jennifer, Molly Boyles, Brandon Boyles, Blane Byrd, and Dallas White, and wife Anna; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Long Shoals Baptist Church, 2988 Long Shoals Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
