Ruth Ledford Sigmon

Nora Ruth Ledford Sigmon, age 95, of Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Daniels Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Sigmon was born May 4, 1923, in Lincoln County, to the late Lee and Texie Sain Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Sigmon, four brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by a son, Robert “Bob” Lee Sigmon, and wife Ethel, of Lincolnton; two grandsons, Todd Sigmon, and wife Cathy, and Eric Sigmon, all of Lincolnton; and five great-grandchildren, Josh, Jason, Amber, Matthew, and Jessica Sigmon.
Memorials may be made to Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
