Mary Schronce McAlister
( September 6, 1928 - June 28, 2018 )
Mary Schronce McAlister, age 89, of Cardinal Health Care, and formerly of McAlister Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018, in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Setzer officiating.
Mrs. McAlister was born September 6, 1928, in Cleveland County, to the late William Guy and Minnie Ada Chapman Schronce. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne McAlister; three brothers; and three sisters. She worked in textiles at Mohican Mills, and loved NASCAR, namely Dale Earnhardt and Dale, Jr., as well as the Carolina Panthers.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Wayne McAlister, and wife Wanda, of Lincolnton, and Kenneth Allen McAlister of Charlotte; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
