Obituaries

Mr. Basil Todd Sain, age 54, of Labans Lane in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Covenant Church, 2168 Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton, NC with Pastor Mike Devine officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service at the church. 

Todd was born January 20, 1964 in Lincoln County to the late Basil Loyd Sain and Shirley Ann Reynolds Sain.  He graduated from Western Carolina University with a BS in Engineering.  Todd was owner and operator of AAA Logistics, Moving and Storage Company.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Ellen Moss Sain of the home; one son, Trey Gilbert and significant other, Amanda of Morganton; one daughter Tyra Lilly and husband Craig of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Gia Rudisill, Ella Lilly and Maggie Dittman; mother-in-law, Dorothy Moss of Lincolnton; three sisters-in-law, Sharon Lasker and husband, Chuck of Hawaii, Pam Dellinger and husband, Kenny of Stanley, the late Ricky Moss of Denver,  April Warren and husband, Steve of Lincolnton; one brother-in-law, Spencer Moss and significant other, April of Cornelius.
