Russell “Rusty” Audie Payseur, age 66, of Gilbert Hilton Road, Vale died Sunday, August 5, 2018.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Pastor Ronnie Lackey officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his sister, Delores Gilbert, 5971 Gilbert Hilton Road, Vale, NC 28168.

Mr. Payseur was born on April 22, 1952 and was the son of the late David Harvey Payseur, Sr. and Aileen William Payseur.  He worked in the textile industry.

Mr. Payseur is survived by two brothers, David H. Payseur, Jr. and wife, Sheila of Lincolnton and Tommy C. Payseur and wife, Ramona of Iron Station; two sisters, Delores Gilbert and husband, Carroll of Vale and Peggy Williams of Maiden; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
