Roger Dale Harrelson

Roger Dale Harrelson, age 71, of Baxter Road in Cherryville, died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Roger was born February 11, 1947, in Lincoln County, to the late James Russell Harrelson and Margaret Moree Grigg Harrelson. He worked for Sherman Textiles as a loom fixer. In his spare time, he enjoyed working the land and building things.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Willis Harrelson of the home; a daughter, Rhonda Beam of Cherryville; a son, Robbie Harrelson, and wife Doreen, of Cherryville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Jimmy Harrelson, and wife Ann, of Cherryville, and Clay Harrelson, and wife Brenda, of Lincolnton.
