Jean Barlow Knuckles King

Jean Barlow Knuckles King, age 94, formerly of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Brian Center in Gastonia.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. King at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Hollybrook Cemetery with Rev. Danny Trapp officiating. The family will greet friends graveside following the service.
Mrs. King was born May 8, 1924, in Lincoln County, to the late Burt P. and Lena Stutts Barlow. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Knuckles, Sr.; son, Vernon Knuckles, Jr.; brother, Burt Barlow, Jr.; sisters, Nell Barlow, Mary Lackey, and Chloe Meggs; and also her second husband, Parks King.
She is survived by a daughter, Beth King, and husband Ron, of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Todd Campbell, and wife Cheryl, of Cherryville, Shanda Walker, and husband Lonnie, of Maiden, Taylor Knuckles, and wife Leslie, of Conover, and Maggie Cook, and husband Josh, of Charlotte; and ten great-grandchildren.
