Helen Ruth Sellers Hallman

Helen Ruth Sellers Hallman, age 92 of Cardinal Health Care, and formerly of the Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Hallman was born April 20, 1926, in Cleveland County, to the late Phillip Shank Sellers and Cara Dellinger Sellers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hallman; two sisters, Betty Blanton and Jeanette Greene; and a brother, William Sellers. She worked as desk manager for Town and Country Motel. Mrs. Hallman was a very devoted, long-term supporter of the Democratic Party and served as the registrar for the North 321 district.
She is survived by two daughters, Gena Hallman Avery, and husband Joe, of Crouse, and Luann Hallman Keener of Denver; three grandchildren, Robert Brent Dyson, Jordan Blaire Keener, and Rachel Elise Keener; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Dyson, William Dyson, and Blakely Dyson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, 3410 Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
