Eric Daniel Nolen

Eric Daniel Nolen, age 42, of 6125 Nolen Acres Lane in Iron Station, died on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at New Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Eric was born November 22, 1975, in Mecklenburg County, to Norman Jefferson Nolen and the late Linda Sims Nolen. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by brothers Jeffrey and Terry Nolen. He worked as a painter.
He is survived by his father, Norman Nolen of Lincolnton; a brother, Frank Nolen, and wife Heather, of Lincolnton; three children, Eric, John, and Juliet Nolen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
