Rosina Clark White

Rosina “Rose” Clark White, age 82, of Westview Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, October 1, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Yount and Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. White was born January 16, 1936, in Gaston County, to the late William Norman Clark and Adlean Smith Clark. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann Hager; a brother, Robert Clark; and a granddaughter, Samara Wilcox. For over 50 years, Rose was a member of the Eastern Star, and also a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel E. White of the home; a daughter, Teresa W. Wilcox, and husband Don, of Johnson City, TN; a son, Elliotte Todd White, and wife Leanne, of Raleigh; a brother, Bill Clark of Kings Mountain, NC; three grandchildren, Shane Wilcox, Emily White, and Preston White; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Suite 999, Charlotte, NC 28215.
