Obituaries

Ailene Hoyle Harrison, age 93, of Lincolnton, died on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Plott officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service.  Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Harrison was born July 28, 1925, to the late Shirley and Jennie Shrum Hoyle.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Harrison; four brothers; and two sisters.  She worked for Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells. 

She is survived by a sister, Faye Hoyle Helton of Denver; a brother, Jerry Hoyle of Winter Haven, FL; and nine nieces and nephews.
